Who are We Looking For

We are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team.  In this position, you will provide support for our customers. This position is located in our Tucson, AZ office.


What to expect in the role:                                                                     

  • Work Help Desk tickets from customers for supported products and platforms.
  • Work directly with customers to understand and resolve their issues.
  • Conduct/facilitate customer calls as needed.
  • Maintain communication with customers on open issues to provide status and updates as appropriate.
  • Work as a team player and work together to exceed departmental goals and objectives.
  • Process support requests from internal employees as needed.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of supported Technology and platforms.
  • Interface with other EtQ departments located in the US and abroad.
  • Stay current with corporate and Support Department policies and procedures.
  • Work on training goals set in training plan.
  • De-escalate tough customer situations
  • Coordinate referrals to appropriate technical, services or sales personnel for follow-up.
  • Self-train or request formal training on new features or bug fixes to be prepared for customer questions on new products and features.
  • Work OT when asked and at times last minute.
  • Be flexible with work schedule to meet staffing/shift needs in a 24x7 365 Support Department.


Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Enterprise Software highly desired
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience with Python and/or Java scripting language
  • Coding experience
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with SQL
