If so, then we encourage you to apply for the role of IT Operations Manager at ETQ. The IT operations manager will provide day-to-day management and supervision of all IT end user support and infrastructure personnel, including all IT projects and support activities at multiple locations. In this role the IT operations manager organizes & coordinates the planning and execution of all support activities and allocates resources as necessary. They demonstrate advanced written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work hands on to solve technical challenges. Responsible for providing comprehensive engineering, operations and maintenance support for the Infrastructure tool suite and other enterprise monitoring products, as well as performing design architectural changes and implementation, following established configuration management processes and schedules. The successful candidate will be skilled at troubleshooting issues in network, systems, and application environments and provides empirical data and recommendations to improve performance.

What to expect

  • Lead the day to day activities of the IT infrastructure and end user support teams
  • Develop IT service delivery culture and supporting services
  • Manage employee development & performance for direct reports
  • Support daily operations for over 300 users located in 3 global offices and remotely
  • Serve as a primary escalation point for incident management for IT services
  • Define metrics for IT success and track department performance
  • Evaluate existing technical solutions and make recommendations for improvements
  • Meet with business stakeholders to identify needs & propose solutions
  • Work with IT Director to define & execute operating budgets
  • Providing critical support for key business activities off hours as needed
  • 25% or less travel

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience directly managing a team of technical resources
  • 10+ years of hands on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure technology
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory
  • 5+ years of experience supporting network, voice, and server infrastructure
  • Experience leading end user support functions preferred
  • Experience with identity management solutions (Okta) preferred
